#1 Vet in Craigavon, Armagh
Lagan Valley Vets Ltd is a small-animal veterinary practice (owners mention dogs) with an emergency contact option described in reviews. Recent feedback highlights very fast out-of-hours response (an emergency call answered immediately and an examination arranged within an hour) and support with difficult end-of-life situations (one owner described their dog’s final visit as “peaceful”). There are also conflicting reports about cost transparency and bedside manner: one reviewer says they were not told about a £35 fee in advance and felt the consultation was brief, while another describes a distressing experience when collecting ashes, including a payment mix-up and staff they felt were insensitive.

My dog was seriously ill in the early hours of 4th January and when I called the emergency number it was answered straight away and Ian didn't hesitate to arrange to examine my dog at the Moira surgery, all within less than an hour. Despite horrendous and treacherous weather and road conditions Ian responded without hesitation and I am extremely grateful. I have used this Veterinary Practice for almost 25 yrs at both Moira and Dromore and can say without hesitation I have always received an excellent service and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Terrible experience pioritize money over welfare of animal charging 35£ to see the dog which they didn't tell me before hand about and they barely look at him far to expensive as well as more money for antibiotics my dog won't even take 👏👏👏

Absolutely appalling behaviour by moira vets when our wee pet feel ill they suggested to say goodbye I paid the fee before this happen and when we attended for the ashes the male staff member on our way out asked for the money again saying he didn't realise it was paid not one of them came near us wen we went to collect our wee fur baby ashes definitely will not be recommend them to anyone very insensitive no empathy an rude like we were a problem to them reception staff don't have any people skills horrible experience which is a pity as it was such a sad tkme for us don't do the job if you can't talk with respect to customers an show a bit of empathy when they are going through a very sad time Your only nice when you are received my money shameful people with no respect There are far better veterinary establishment with nice staff so be mindful if you are thinking of going near this place o and the main male vet was also very rude does not know how to speak to the customers Mmclaughlin

Always there to help and couldn’t be happier with our choice of vets! They take great care of each of our dogs, going above and beyond for us when needed.

I took our dog as his belly had swollen. We were then contacted by the vet to tell that my dog had cancer and recommended that he was bad and would need put down.
